What is financed?
Through SF PEIC I+D 2023, projects are financed for the generation of new scientific and technological knowledge, developed by researchers belonging to public and/or private non-profit institutions based in Santa Fe.

Who can apply?
Universities, the CONICET Scientific and Technological Centers, the INTA, INTI and INA institutes and those non-profit institutions dedicated to carrying out scientific research, technological development and/or innovation activities, which have researchers, technologists and/or professionals trained and active that guarantee the infrastructure of personnel, services and facilities necessary for the realization of the project, and are located in the Province of Santa Fe.
Important: The application must be made through Technological Linkage Units, Associations or Development Agencies based in the Province of Santa Fe.

What is the maximum amount of the ANR to request?
The maximum amount of the ANR to be granted will depend on the modality in which the project is presented and if it falls within a strategic area or is an open topic:

• Modality A, for Young Researchers (up to 40 years of age): $3,200,000 for “Open Topics” and $4,000,000 if it falls within any “Provincial Strategic Topic”.
• Modality B, for Consolidated Groups of an institution: $4,000,000 for “Open Issues” and $5,000,000 if it falls within any “Provincial Strategic Issue”.
• Modality C, for interdisciplinary projects of Groups in Association: $7,200,000 for “Open Topics” and $9,000,000 if it falls within any “Provincial Strategic Topic”.

What are the provincial strategic issues?
Life sciences; Cannabis for medicinal purposes; Environment and climate change; Aquaculture; Social and economic sciences.

What expenses can be presented?
Contracting of third-party services; Inputs and test material, tests and laboratories; Software rental; Bibliographic material; Payment of scholarships and internships (only in Modality A); Costs of protection of intellectual property; Travel and accommodation expenses; Necessary equipment for the execution of the project; Infrastructure in the beneficiary entity.

What is the term of the projects?
The maximum term of technical and financial execution will be 18 months.

Until when can I apply?
The closing of the call will take place in the month of August of this year.
